Grace Slaven is a Perth-based emerging artist, academic and arts educator. She has a specific interest in gothic and surrealist aesthetic modes and how they can be utilised to unearth feminine experiences. Grace has exhibited in numerous group exhibitions around Perth including Walyalup Waters – 10 Nights in Port (2023), as well as two solo shows, La Natura (2015) and Flesh and Forest (2021). Her work has been acquired by private collectors and the Janet Holmes à Court collection. Grace is currently completing her doctorate in Fine Arts at Curtin University where she also tutors in the OUA Art Studies program.
